My group practice, Union Square Psychotherapy, offers therapy on a sliding scale, and free initial intakes. If you’re interested in scheduling a 45-minute initial session, you can do so here.
I also offer therapy on a sliding scale individually, but at the moment, my sliding-scale slots are full – I’m not currently accepting reduced fee patients.
I don’t accept insurance, but I can help you get reimbursed by your insurer if it covers out-of-network benefits. If we are not a match, you have other options:
I’m a candidate in psychoanalysis at the Psychoanalytic Training Institute of the Contemporary Freudian Society (formerly the Freudian Society of New York). I have many trusted colleagues, and you can call CFS’s clinical referral service at 212-752-7883, where you can be referred to therapists with credentials and experience including LP (licensed psychoanalyst), MSW, Psy.D, MD, and PhD.
