Sliding-scale resources

I work on a sliding scale. It’s important to me that psychotherapy and psychoanalysis be affordable and accessible. While I don’t accept insurance, I can help you get reimbursed by your insurer if it covers out-of-network benefits.

If we are not a match, you have other options.

I’m a candidate in psychoanalysis at the Psychoanalytic Training Institute of the Contemporary Freudian Society (formerly the Freudian Society of New York). I have many trusted colleagues, and you can call CFS’s clinical referral service at 212-752-7883, where you can be referred to therapists with credentials and experience including LP (licensed psychoanalyst), MSW, Psy.D, MD, and PhD.

This is a list of low-cost and sliding-scale therapy and analysis providers in New York City. I update it frequently, and hope you find it useful. If you know of any such resources that I’ve omitted, I hope you’ll use my contact form to let me know.
